2026 NYCHA HORSE HALL OF FAME INDUCTEES

Congratulations to the newly inducted 2026 NYCHA Horse Hall of Fame honorees.

 

Fort Worth, TX— The National Youth Cutting Horse Association is proud to announce the 2026 NYCHA Horse Hall of Fame inductees. This year's exceptional class recognizes six outstanding horses whose accomplishments have left a lasting legacy in youth cutting competition.

The 2026 NYCHA Horse Hall of Fame inductees are:

  • Colonel Leana — Owned by C.J. Marcello Jr., Garland, North Carolina
  • Lucky Bottom Roy — Owned by Nikki Sokol Roberson, Mineral Wells, Texas
  • MK Vivian — Owned by Kenli Marvin, Barnsdall, Oklahoma
  • Montanas Musical Sox — Owned by Tarin Rice, Poolville, Texas
  • Taliate — Owned by Preslie Green, Perrin, Texas
  • Wood Ya Wanna — Owned by Wrigley Ranches, LLC, Ketchum, Idaho

Collectively, these remarkable horses have amassed 1,816 NCHA youth points and more than $880,000 in lifetime earnings, demonstrating the extraordinary impact they have made on the sport and the countless youth competitors they have helped develop.

The NYCHA extends its sincere appreciation to Tara Gaines and the NYCHA Horse Hall of Fame Committee for their dedication and thoughtful selection process in choosing another outstanding class of inductees. Their commitment ensures that the history and excellence of these exceptional equine athletes continue to be recognized and celebrated.

The 2026 NYCHA Horse Hall of Fame inductees will be formally honored during the NYCHA Awards Banquet on Sunday, August 2, 2026, in Fort Worth, Texas, as part of the 2026 NYCHA Youth Week festivities.

The NYCHA Horse Hall of Fame celebrates horses whose talent, consistency, and partnership with youth exhibitors have made a lasting contribution to the National Youth Cutting Horse Association. The Class of 2026 exemplifies the excellence, dedication, and tradition that continue to inspire the next generation of cutting horse competitors.
