TQHA $100,000 INCENTIVE ANNOUNCED FOR NCHA SUPER STAKES PRESENTED BY ICON GLOBAL

This incentive will be awarded to the three highest-placing eligible Texas-foaled horses in the Super Stakes Classic in each of the Open, Non-Pro, and Amateur divisions.

 

 

FORT WORTH –The National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA) is pleased to announce our partnership with the Texas Quarter Horse Association (TQHA) as the $100,000 incentive returns.

 

 

This incentive will be awarded to the three highest-placing eligible Texas-foaled horses in the Super Stakes Classic in each of the Open, Non-Pro, and Amateur divisions. The 2026 Super Stakes presented by Icon Global will take place at the Will Rogers Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas, from March 18 through April 13. 

 

The Incentive provided by TQHA will continue to offer benefits for the Super Stakes Classic event, which is specifically for horses aged 5 to 6 years. To be eligible for this Incentive, a horse must be registered with the American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA), born in Texas, and have "Texas" listed in the State/Country field on their AQHA registration paperwork. Additionally, both the owner and the rider must be current TQHA members by 5:00 PM CST on the day before the division finals to qualify for this Incentive.

 

The $100,000 Incentive will be allocated to the top three highest-placing eligible horses in their respective divisions as follows: 

 

Classic Open: $50,000 

  • Highest Placing: $25,000
  • Second Highest Placing: $15,000
  • Third Highest Placing: $10,000

Classic Non-Pro: $25,000 

  • Highest Placing: $12,500
  • Second Highest Placing: $7,500
  • Third Highest Placing: $5,000

Classic Amateur: $25,000 

  • Highest Placing: $12,500
  • Second Highest Placing: $7,500
  • Third Highest Placing: $5,000
