NCHA ANNOUNCES RESULTS FROM THE 2026 CONTESTED DIRECTOR ELECTIONS

The newly elected directors will start their positions on the first day of the NCHA Annual Convention on June 19, 2026.

FORT WORTH –The National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA) announces the results of the 2026 NCHA contested Director Election. There was a total of three contested district areas.

The allotted Directors per district area are based on the current membership numbers as of September 30^th of the previous year. Directors elected will serve a term of 3 consecutive years. Elections may or may not be held in each district based on an increase or decrease in membership and incumbent directors.

The newly elected directors will start their positions on the first day of the NCHA Annual Convention on June 19, 2026.

The elected results are as follows:

Florida

Brittany Overstreet

Sharon Overstreet

Montana

Kelly Fraser

VA, WV, MD, DC and DE

Roy Bauer

Ryan Smith

The remaining 2026 NCHA Director appointments will be made pending approval at the March Executive Committee meeting, scheduled for March 10-11, 2026.
