FORT WORTH –The National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA) proudly announces an exciting new event: the National High School Finals Rodeo (NHSFR) Cutting Invitational! This historic competition will bring together 20 young men and 20 young women who qualified for the Short-Go at the 2024 NHSFR in Rock Springs, Wyoming. These talented youth competitors will showcase their cutting skills during the 2024 National Circuit Championships in Fort Worth, Texas, at the legendary Watt Arena on Saturday, April 5, 2025.
This event will run concurrently with the Youth Senior class, providing HSR finalists with the opportunity to cross-enter. One run will count for both classes, creating a streamlined and competitive environment for all participants.
“We are excited to showcase a world-class youth cutting competition and further strengthen our partnership with the National High School Rodeo Association,” said Rianna Storey, NCHA Director of Youth.
To ensure fairness and consistency, the five-judge system used for all NCHA classes will also be implemented for the HSR Invitational.
