NCHA ANNOUNCES AFFILIATE AND RESERVE AFFILIATE OF THE YEAR

The 2023 Affiliate of the Year is the Wateree Cutting Horse Association, and the Reserve Affiliate of the Year is PK Cutters.

FORT WORTH – The National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA) proudly announces the 2023 Affiliate of the Year, Wateree Cutting Horse Association, and the Reserve Affiliate of the Year, PK Cutters. In an effort to recognize and reward outstanding affiliate organizations of the NCHA, the Executive Committee established an “Affiliate of the Year” award. Congratulations to both affiliates and thank you for your hard work and dedication to the sport of cutting.

“I want to thank the NCHA for this award. We are very honored as an association,” said Wateree CHA President Chris Howell. “I want to thank our members; we've got a very loyal group of cutters here. We've just tried to make cutting fun—not just cutting but the social events as well. Again, we sincerely appreciate this award and are very honored.”

“I am very proud of Dee and Jessy for the work they put into keeping this association running,” said Cooper Vandiver, President of PK Cutters. “I am very humbled for someone nominating us for this award. We are a family-run association and want to do as much as we can for our cutters and consider them family.”

The Affiliate of the Year and Reserve Affiliate of the Year awards will be presented at the NCHA Hall of Fame Gala and Award Ceremony held during the 2024 NCHA Convention in Nashville, Tennesee.
