FORT WORTH – The National Cutting Horse Association Executive and Finance committees have reviewed and approved the entry fees to the 2023 NCHA World Championship Futurity to be held in Fort Worth, Texas, in November and December of 2023.
The NCHA Metallic Cat World Championship Futurity has become a record breaking show over the past few years, with higher entries and payouts than ever before, and the 2023 event looks to continue that trend.
The first payment of $200 for Open and Non-Pro horses is due with a postmark of November 1, 2022. Both the Open and Non-Pro will continue to have a single-entry fee that will automatically enter horses in the top level, Intermediate, and/or Limited classes in the division based on the rider's eligibility.
The first payment for Amateur divisions will be due on August 9, 2023, with the second and final payment taking place on October 2, 2023. The Amateur division will also be leveled, but riders will continue to have the option to combine levels and ride into the herd two times.
The NCHA has several thrilling aspects planned for the 2023 Futurity as we continue to strive to provide our members with the best experience at our events. Exhibitors will notice a slight increase in entry fees synonymous with the rising cost of inflation; however, a discount is available for those who pay their entry in full.
The 2023 entry forms and complete payment schedule are available now at nchacutting.com/futurity.
