TETON RIDGE WELCOMES THIRD EDGE INTO THEIR WORLD CLASS BREEDING PROGRAM

WEATHERFORD - Teton Ridge knows legendary material when they see it and has taken another monumental step towards building a world class performance horse breeding program by acquiring the phenomenal NCHA champion stallion, THIRD EDGE.

The 2018 red roan stallion by Metallic Rebel and out of Lil Rattler LTE $338,967, has lifetime earnings of over $169,000 and a multitude of title wins including the NCHA Summer Spectacular Open Derby, CoChampions of the NCHA Super Stakes Open Derby and The Arbuckle Open Derby.

Breeder and previous owner, SMF Cutting Horses, owned by Steven and Jessica Feiner, had incredible vision for this very special and sentimental stallion, “It made sense for Third Edge to become a part of the Teton Ridge program. He is a once in a lifetime horse that has meant so much to so many people, to be able to give him the opportunity to continue to shape the industry and to create his own legacy is monumental,” said Feiner.

Shown and trained by NCHA $4.6 million dollar rider Wesley Galyean, Third Edge will play an important role in siring the next generation of champions for Teton Ridge. “He has been special since the first day I started him on cows, since then every run in the show pen together has been nothing short of extraordinary. Third Edge is a great mix of talent, athleticism and eye appeal. We are very proud of him and know he carries a bright future in the breeding barn.”
