Kristin Hahn, Brenham, Tex., the first rider on Wednesday morning, won the second go-round of the NCHA Super Stakes Non-Pro with 218 points on Kitties Glitter, by Smooth As A Cat. Hahn was one of 41 riders with cumulative go-round scores of 424.5 points who will advance to the Non-Pro Semi-Finals on Thursday.

Quinn Collins, Washington, Tex., and Metallicty, by Metallic Cat, who won the first go-round with 221 points, scored 216 points in the second round to tally 437 points, the highest cumulative score. And Cole Rothwell, Dallas, Tex., and Khaleesi Cat, by Jazarell Cat, earned the second-highest cumulative with go-round scores of 219 and 216.5 points.

Jennifer Foland, Weatherford, Tex., scored 217.5 points to tie Jarrett Callahan, McConnels, S.C.,  for  the second go-round’s second-highest mark. Riding Breygo, by Dual Rey, Foland also ranked third with 433.5 points in the cumulative. Callahan, who was aboard Smart Lil Catty Hawk, by Catty Hawk, earned a cumulative of 432.5 points.

Kristin Hahn, the NCHA earner of $34,521, showed Kitties Glitter LTE $7,224 as a non-pro limited finalist in the 2106 NCHA Futurity and placed eighth with the mare in the 2017 Augusta Futurity Non-Pro. Bred by Rocking W Ranch, Kitties Litter is out of a Dun Commander daughter with five NCHA performers that have earned $50,452.

Jennifer Foland won the 2010 NCHA Super Stakes Non-Pro on Breygo’s dam, Shes Twice As Smooth LTE $191,734, by Smooth As A Cat. Foland, the NCHA earner of $325,818, bred Breygo, as well as his 4-year-old half-brother Fed Exx, by Spots Hot, who  has won $28,331 for Wesley and Kristen Galyean.

Jarrett Callahan, the NCHA earner of $340,000, won the 2017 Augusta Futurity Non-Pro riding Calico Spots $28,606, by Bet Hesa Cat, also shown by Skip Queen in the Open division. In 2016, Callahan placed with two horses, Shift Her In Third and Ichi Mate, in the Augusta Futurity Non-Pro, and also with Cats Dual Jazz and Johnny Reyngo in the Augusta Non-Pro 5/6 Classic.

Smart Lil Catty Hawk LTE $2,355, by Catty Hawk, is out of the Smart Little Lena daughter Little San Rose, the NRCHA earner of $36,837. Smart Lil Catty Hawk is her first money earner.
