The NCHA produces six shows each year:

NCHA Championship Futurity for 3-year-old horses which have not been shown.

NCHA Super Stakes divisions for 4-year-old and 5-/6-year-old horses sired by subscribed stallions.

NCHA Summer Spectacular presented by Great American Insurance. Divisions for 4-year-old and 5-/6-year-old horses.

NCHA World Championship Finals. Fifteen Entries are taken in both the Open and Non-Pro Championship classes, based on the Top Standings from each class.

Eastern National Championships presented by The 6666 Ranch. Contestants in NCHA's affiliate or area standings are eligible to compete in the 12 approved Championship classes.

Western National Championships presented by The 6666 Ranch. Contestants in NCHA's affiliate or area standings are eligible to compete in the 12 approved Championship classes.

In addition, NCHA organizes NCHA Weekend during which shows are held for all 25 NCHA Regions in the USA and Canada.

Langston Pattillo: 2021 Arbuckle Futurity Non-Pro Champion

Langston Pattillo, Saint Elmo, Ill., scored 220 points on Hot Sauzz $23,460, by Im Countin Checks, to win the Arbuckle Futurity 4-Year-Old Non-Pro championship and $10,000, on Sunday, February 28, in Ardmore, Okla. Stuart Bozeman, Idalou, Tex., claimed the reserve championship and $8,500, with 219.5 points on Check Yer Metal $30,387, by Metallic Cat, while Colton Rothwell, Dallas, Tex., and Bill Lacy, Crested Butte, Co., split third and fourth to each earn $5,913, riding Jimmy The Gent LTE $23,563, by Woody Be Tuff, and Reyzin Em Right LTE $21,311, by Reyzin The Cash, respectively.

Langston Pattillo, the NCHA earner of $469,174, and Hot Sauzz also topped the Non-Pro Novice and Non-Pro Gelding divisions, as well as second-place in the Amateur Gelding division to claim additional earnings on Sunday.

Last year Pattillo won the Arbuckle Mountain 5/6 Amateur on Shesa Tuff Teaspoon LTE $38,719, by Woody Be Tuff, who he had shown as Non-Pro reserve champion of the 2019 NCHA Derby and Amateur Unlimited champion of the 2019 Brazos Bash.

Hot Sauzz, bred by Madalyn Colgrove, Boligee, Ala., is the first money earner out of the High Brow Cat daughter Sweet Lil Sue LTE $47,769, who is a full sister to Sassy Lil Sue LTE $74,140, out of Peptos Stylish Sue LTE $226,056, dam of earners of over $332,000.

In addition to the Non-Pro reserve title, Stuart Bozeman, the NCHA earner of $233,056, and his colt Check Yer Metal, also placed first in the Non-Pro Limited division and second in the Non-Pro Novice, as well as second in the Open Intermediate Novice and as an Open finalist. Earlier this year they placed fourth in the Abilene Spectacular Non-Pro.

Bred by Bozeman, Check Yer Metal is out of the Im Countin Checks daughter Checkers Live Oak LTE $177,737, who Bozeman showed as Non-Pro champion of the 2016 NCHA Classic Challenge and the 2016 El Rancho NCHA World Series, as well as Non-Pro reserve champion in the 2016 Brazos Bash 5/6 Classic.

In addition to tying for a three-four split in the 2021 Arbuckle 4-Year-Old Non-Pro on Reyzin Em Right, Bill Lacy and his gelding also claimed first in the Non-Pro Senior division and second in the Non-Pro Gelding. Last year, Lacy showed Daddys Little Muna LTE $17,722, by High Brow Cougar, to win the NCHA Futurity Non-Pro Senior and the Arbuckle Mountain Non-Pro Senior divisions.

Bred by Bill Lacy, the NCHA Non-Pro Hall of Fame earner of $950,454, Reyzin Em Right is out of the Smart Little Uno daughter, Uno Mermaid LTE $65,209, dam of earners of $228,138, including Ariel Rey $100,480, by Dual Rey.

Colton Rothwell, the NCHA earner of $453,573, showed Jimmy The Gent to place 14th in last year’s NCHA Non-Pro Futurity. Bred by Ken Sitton, Jimmy The Gent is the first money earner out of the Boon Too Suen daughter Suen You Will See LTE $163,778.
