NOTICE TO NCHA AMATEUR CARDHOLDERS 60 YEARS OF AGE AND OLDER

As a result of a recent rule change approved by the NCHA Executive Committee, the earnings caps for NCHA Amateur card holders who are 60 years of age and older will be increased to $200,000 LAE/ $200,000 Weekend, and $400,000 lifetime. Under the new rule, past or future Senior monies would not count towards eligibility.  Additionally, under the new rule, all NCHA Amateur card holders 70 years or older will be allowed to retain amateur status, regardless of lifetime earnings. This rule goes into full force and effect at the start of the 2018 point year. Please check the 2018 NCHA Rule book for further details.

The NCHA is also making a onetime offer to all current NCHA Amateur card holders who meet the requirements listed above to enter the 2017 NCHA Futurity $50,000 Amateur Division. To qualify for this offer, you must currently hold an NCHA Amateur card and must reach the required age before the start date of the 2017 NCHA Futurity $50,000 Amateur Division. This offer only applies to the 2017 Futurity and does not apply to any other shows held in 2017.

If you are eligible under this offer, you may enter the 2017 NCHA Futurity $50,000 Amateur Division by making your first payment now, without any penalty for failing the first payment on the August 1, 2017.  The second payment is due on October 1, 2017. All penalties relating to any late payment of the second payment will remain in effect.

Please contact the NCHA Show Department with any questions.
