Stallion Foal Awards

The Stallion Owners and Breeders Committee would like to take a moment to recognize and congratulate all of the participants in this year’s Super Stakes. Our committee oversees the Stallion and Foal Program of which the foremost benefit is the money added to the purse from fees paid by stallion subscribers and foal nominators. Fees collected are apportioned to the show year in which the foal will participate as a four-year-old. Not only is there added money for the purse each year, the program sets aside 15% of the funds collected through foal nominations for foal nominator awards and 15% of stallion subscriptions for stallion owner awards. For the foal nominator awards, the 15% is split amongst the top 7 places in the major classes of the Super Stakes: Open, Non-Pro, Ltd Non-Pro, Unlimited Amateur and Amateur. The foal nominator awards began in 2015. For the stallion owner awards, the 15% is split amongst the top 5 places in the major classes of the Super Stakes: Open, Non-Pro, Ltd Non-Pro, Unlimited Amateur and Amateur. 2017 is the first year stallion owner awards will be given out.
