NYCHA Events
- NCHA World Finals
Cutters from
coast to coast work all year for the right to compete at this event, which
will host the top 30 money-earners in all 12 NCHA-approved classes. Those
top cutters will converge on Amarillo, Texas, to compete for cash, prizes
and the all-important bragging rights. With 12 World Champion titles at
stake, the competition is outstanding.

Eastern National Championships
Participants will be limited to:
(a.) The Top Ten Area Leaders at the end of the point year from the 25 NCHA
areas, as determined by official Association records.
(b.) Affiliate Top Ten at the end of the point year as determined by
Affiliate records.

Participants will be limited to:
(a.) The Top Ten Area Leaders at the end of the point year from the 25 NCHA
areas, as determined by official Association records.

- NYCHA Convention and
Buffalo Ranch
NYCHA Scholarship Cutting
This five day event is loaded with fun activities and fierce competition for
the youth members who converge on Fort Worth, Texas during the month of
July. In addition to the junior and senior youth cutting competition,
activities include a family-fun night, the annual awards banquet, a NYCHA
business meeting and a grand entry. More than $28,000 in college
scholarships are awarded during the youth cutting competition.
Entries are due
June 13, 2008.
- NCHA Weekend
The National Cutting Horse Association organizes NCHA Weekend during which shows are held for all 25 NCHA Regions in the USA and Canada.
The event is usually held the first weekend of June each year. NYCHA
provides two $250 scholarships to each of the 25 shows to be awarded to
youth competitors during NCHA Weekend.
- NCHA Approved Weekend Shows
More than 1,500 NCHA Approved Shows are held each year in locations
throughout the USA, Canada and many foreign countries. Click on the
